Day 222

222nd day, 222nd picture:

I see the city through the treeeees.

Day 221

221st day, 221st picture:

I'm going to apologize for the amount of nature pictures lately (and most likely coming soon). It's the week before finals and I have a live-or-die paper I have to write on a subject I just don't get (and is SO boring).

But I really do like this picture.

On another nature note, I'm pretty sure Texas has a different sun than the rest of the world. I was walking to my car after class and it was SO FREAKING HOT (pretty much, it was 70). It's almost December for crying out loud. But luckily, tomorrow it should be colder. I'll take anything below 60.

So this is late. Sorry.

Day 218

218th day, 218th picture:

It's really really cold here.
I did my film project on reflections, and now I can't help but notice them.
Here's another one.

Day 216

216th day, 216th picture:

Day 211

Reflections.
I have to go to school tomorrow again. Yes, my life is SO interesting. I'm going to bed early tonight.

Day 209

209th day, 209th picture:

I like it when there are two things in a picture that do not go together. Like fancy gates and traffic cones.
I feel like I've posted this already, if I have, please tell me. I have to write a paper and I've already made 12341921234109870 typos on this really short post. YAY!

Day 207

207th day, 207th picture:

Sometimes there are random small children in by pictures. But that's okay, I cropped out her face. She has some supercute shoes too.

Who knew trash cans could be pretty?

Day 206

206th day, 206th picture:

Myrna is so stylish. She also enjoys some cappuccinos from Starbucks on occasion and is writing a novel. Unfortunately I don't think we are going to be able to understand it.

On another note, remember when I was talking about how expensive photography is? Well, I have to pay a speeding ticket which is putting me back 115 dollars and 10 cents which doesn't help things.

ALSO. My apartment fells really empty. The walls aren't painted (yet), so they are kind of bare and empty. I want to print some of my pictures to hang and suggestions would be very appreciated if you have any.

Day 205

205th day, 205th picture:

I went to school today. Yeah, it's Saturday. It was Photo I Lab day and I figured a lot of people would be going. Wrong. I was the only one there. It was pretty nice.

This picture was taken in Dripping Springs.  There was baseball there today, and it was FREEZING. Also, the fences are so tall and my lenses are too slow to take pictures at the game, and I've always wanted to take a photo of this clock. It looks really cool at night.

Day 204

204th day, 204th picture:

Let's talk about photography. (Duh.)

It's really expensive. And I do not have money.
I currently would love to upgrade my current camera from the beginner level one to one that would probably be better for me in the long run.
Yeah, right.
I've been browsing ebay sooo much, but of course people are going to sell their cameras for close to retail price, I would if it was fairly new, because it's SO MUCH MONEY!

Oh well.

Also, this picture represents my final project I've been working on about reflections. I know I haven't scanned anything, but I will when the scanner works.

Day 203

203rd day, 203rd picture:
I think graffiti can be cool.
Also, Christmas is in 44 days. So Christmas will be day 247. That's cool, huh?

Day 202

202nd day, 202nd picture:

I don't know why, but I really like this picture.

Tuesday, November 9, 2010

Day 201

201st day, 201st picture:

So tonight, as I sit in my bed, trying to write a paper (but being really distracted by the fact that I cannot, as hard as I try, open this package of some brown sugar ham and it's making me really angry), I would like to share with you my failed idea for day 200.
I was going to blow up 200 balloons.
I bought 3 helium tanks at Walmart and after I used one just messing around and found out how far I could NOT blow up water balloons and how HILARIOUS my voice sounds when I inhale helium, I started.
I got to 30 before my finger was cut open on the sharp edges of the helium tank (seriously. it says Bend to open! no oscar mayer, it is not working and I really just want to eat some ham.)
I recovered, and then made it to 95 before I realized it was not going to happen.
Oh well, I tried and I got something done.

(I am going to go destroy this ham. Goodnight.)

Day 200

200th day, 200th picture:

OHMYGOD.
THIS IS SO HARD TO READ. (It says "Two hundred days of pics" but it's crazy)
Guess what? There are 200 m&m's making up the weird attempt at a celebration for the 200th day. I had a better idea, but it failed MISERABLY. I'll tell you about it tomorrow.
Anywayyyy
Sadly, that's just cardboard and not a cookie. (ohmygosh i should have done that!)

But anyway, I can't believe it's been 200 days. The last 100 have gone by really quickly. Hopefully the next 165 go by really really fast!

Day 199

199th day, 199th picture:
Tomorrow's a big dayyyyy, and i don't know what I'm going to do.

Day 197

197th day, 197th picture:

Folks, it's that time again where I rant about something that got on my nerves today.
I think that there are very few things that annoy me more than people who refuse to drive the speed limit (and those few things are loud chewing and putting your feet on my seat. both of which are movie theater and car related). Anyway, today I just wanted to get home and I got stuck behind this IDIOT who was going 40 when there were about 1608450982304192735 signs that said "SPEED LIMIT: 60" Okay, so maybe I got a ticket for going 15 over on this same road two weeks ago (which, for the record, I was only going 8-10 over), but going TWENTY under the speed limit should be (and even might be) pullover-able. Granted, I think that maybe traffic was kind of bad, and I was really hungry and I may get a little bit of road rage, but it get 107 times worse when I'm hungry and just trying to get to Chick-fil-a. But still, IT'S A HIGHWAY FOR CRYING OUT LOUD. I've pretty much contradicted myself like 5 times in this post, which probably makes it unnecessary, oh well, I hope you enjoy the picture?

Day 196

196th day, 196th picture:
Here's the view from the peep hole out my door?

Wednesday, November 3, 2010

Day 195

195th day, 195th picture:
Myrna has funny feet. She's also quite weird when she sleeps because she sticks her back feet out straight.

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

Day 194

194th day, 194th picture:

I voted today. I think it may be one of the most frustrating things about living in Texas.

Monday, November 1, 2010

Day 193

193rd day, 193rd picture:

I'd like to dedicate this picture and today's post to Thanksgiving, because I feel bad for it. When I was at Wal-mart yesterday looking for a bald cap (cool, huh?) there was only one aisle of Halloween things. Why? Because they were putting up Christmas things. Maybe it's because people don't generally decorate for Thanksgiving, but I bet it feels like the forgotten stepchild of the end-of-year holiday season.
Thanksgiving, don't feel left out. Because in 3 weeks everyone will be eating turkey, despite the fact that they forgot to decorate Wal-mart for you. You're probably more joyful than Christmas for cows everywhere, and scarier than Halloween for birds. I can't wait for November 25th.
