Day 253

253rd day, 253rd picture:

Here's just an example of the cuteness I have been dealing with while editing these pictures over the last few days.
CUTENESS OVERLOAD.
(I love this picture)
Hopefully I'm almost done editing, so this will be the last of these on the blog, but they'll be on the website soon!

Day 252

252nd day, 252nd picture:

This is Catherine.
She's on my blog a lot.
I have 963 pictures of her on my computer.

This is from the photoshoot yesterday. SO MANY PICTURES. But they're pretty.

Day 251

251st day, 251st picture:

I'm exhausted.
I took over 1000 pictures of these girls today.
We played with tulle and it was super cold, but I'm looking forward to finish editing the rest of the pictures. Tomorrow. Because I'm soooo tired.

Day 247

247th day, 247th picture:

Merry Christmas!
Today was good.
Except maybe the part where our flight was cancelled and we spent 3 hours in the airport for no reason...
but everything else was great.

My dad loves to organize things.
So for Christmas we gave him this awesome gadget that converts negatives and slide to digital images.
It was pretty cool. And I tried it out with some of the pictures I took for my final project. I'll try to put up some of my favorites from the rest of the year when I find the rest of my negatives...

Hopefully tomorrow I'll post my first picture with my new camera.
It's a little different, but it is AMAZING and I can't wait to use it.

Day 246

246th day, 246th picture:

Oh man. This might be the earliest I've ever posted.
But today, the doggies went out to be boarded because we are leaving tomorrow.
It's REALLY quiet here. I wish they could be with us for Christmas, but the puppy is with his mother and sister, and Myrna loves it out there, so I bet they're fine.
Still, every half hour or so I go and get a puppy hug, and I haven't been able to do that today!

Day 245

245th day, 245th picture:

Time flies.
It's crazy.
I have to keep reminding myself that it's almost Christmas, but I'm ready to travel.

Day 244

244th day, 244th picture:

These are cute Christmas lights?

Tuesday, December 21, 2010

Day 243

243rd day, 243rd picture:

Generally, I don't like to put up self portraits or pictures with the obnoxious flash, but I really love this.
I'm ready for a vacation. I'm going a little bit stir crazy. A-get-out-of-town vacation, maybe to a place where it isn't EIGHTY DEGREES FOUR DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS! I feel like everyone is out of town or busy.
I leave for Raleigh in 4 days, and it's definitely not going to be 80 there (yessss), but then I'll complain that it's cold. OH WELL.

Day 242

242nd day, 242nd picture:

I tried to take pictures of the eclipse, but it was cloudy and I got this. But I like it.

Day 241

241st day, 241st picture:
I have a new model.
This tiny puppy decided to pose for my camera while he was laying in the sunshine.

He also posed like this:
I know yesterday I was debating over whether or not i could put up more than one picture, and I'm going to keep this blog generally one a day, but today I could NOT choose between these two.
HE'S SO FREAKING ADORABLE.

Funny story: A few weeks ago Milton decided that he wanted to lay in the sunshine, but the only place where the sun was coming through the windows to the floor was on the tile. So he went and grabbed his bed and dragged it to the sunny spot. So smart. I love him.

Day 240

240th day, 240th picture:

Today I did another Portrait session.
IT WAS COLD. (and not like, I'm-from-Texas,-so-I'm-a-weather-wimp cold, more of a it's-almost-Christmas-and-the-weather-finally-figured-it-out kind of cold. For central Texas anway.)

Anyway, I photographed these two kiddos and their super cute puppy as a Christmas present for their mom. Let me tell you, it was so easy for me. Talk about a photogenic family. They definitely knew what they were doing, and managed to handle to cold really well.

I'm thinking about launching another blog for when I do shoots, so I can post more than one picture because I feel like I'm cheating when I post more than one on here and sometimes it's hard to decide. (Okay. I already have to web address for the blog but haven't actually started it yet.)
Should I do it?

Day 239

239th day, 239th picture:

I like driving by all the Christmas lights.

Thursday, December 16, 2010

Day 238

238th day, 238th picture:

Today I had a pleasant surprise as we got one of my cousins' family's christmas cards in the mail with the pictures I took of them. I love it!
It looked amazing and this picture doesn't do it justice.
It helps that my family members are attractive people!

Day 237

237h day, 237th picture:
I know this picture doesn't actually suck this much, I don't know why it looks like this on here, it looks fine on my iphoto.

Tuesday, December 14, 2010

Day 236

236th day, 236th picture:

Don't worry! It's just a cap gun.
Today Chris and I went to the Alamo Drafthouse for their showing of Die Hard.
They gave us free cap guns and had explosions in the theater. It was awesome.

Monday, December 13, 2010

Day 235

235th day, 235th picture:
There's only 12 days until Christmas!
I have a lot to do!

Sunday, December 12, 2010

Day 234

234th day, 234th picture:

Today I took some headshots. I had taken his younger brother's headshots at the theatrikids camp I worked over the summer, and their mom wanted some to use in her christmas card.
Here's one of them.

Day 232

232nd day, 232nd picture:

Today I was playing around with my camera (surprise) and I was playing taking pictures of the ceiling fan on a bunch of different setting and then THIS happened. I love it. Like the fan is exploding.
(Also, If you look close, you can see one of those sticky frogs on the ceiling that has been there for YEARS.)

Sunday, December 5, 2010

Day 227

227th day, 227th picture:

Okay, I didn't take this today, because I have 2 finals tomorrow and I've been studying allllll day.
I didn't have time to take a picture of something.

SO
I decided I'd share something I never got the chance to because I took them before I started this blog.

This has always been one of my favorites that I took back when Ian was on the Invaders, so over a year ago? I still like it.

There you go. I'm sorry if this was disappointing!
Back to studying.

Day 226

226th day, 226th picture:

It's been a longggg time since a dog picture.

Friday, December 3, 2010

Day 225

225th day, 225th picture:

I really like this. It's simple, but if you look close (click on it and zoom in!) you can see the shadow to the TV and antenna (yes, there are antennas on this TV)

ALSO
Following my pencil story from yesterday:
It seems like all inanimate objects surrounding me are turning on me.
Every time I try to do something productive on my computer it just says "NO!" and I have to turn it off and turn it back on.
I think they are waging war.

Day 224

I lied. Sorry. Hopefully this weekend, I'll be able to have something more interesting.

Also, this always happens:
1. I get a pencil
2. I start to use that pencil
3. I lose that pencil
4. I search frantically for that pencil
5. No, seriously, I look everywhere
6. I go get a new pencil
7. I return to my working area
8. I find my original pencil

Whyyyyyyyyyy?
